Paper Abstract:      Business, commerce, marketing, research, science, education, any form of divulgation of information and communication…the way forward in today’s world is only across the World Wide Web. It has taken the world by storm and revolutionised the way people access information as well as the way society interacts, communicates and functions. In this respect, web developers are continuously looking at ways of optimising individual users’ experience emphasising on efficiency, effectiveness and performance of the applications and services being made use of; hence the emergence of the Web 2.0 and with it new technologies such as AJAX. Dynamicity, interactivity, fluidity and flexibility are among the key words describing this emerging technology. This paper aims to discuss the potential benefits of using AJAX for education and learning by enhancing an application’s usability and interactivity over the web.
